Lived in this so called “luxury” apartment for two years and never had one maintenance request or noise complaint answered. If you don’t mind hearing everything your neighbors are doing all the time, dealing with college students screaming in the hallway at 2 am, getting your car towed from your parking spot by the tow company that has been allowed by management to predate on the tenants and their guests, have broken appliances, then this place is perfect for you.

It is painful to live in this apartment. It is impressive that the least of the problems are from college students themselves, not the amount of loud parties or wandering drunk kids. From towing cars that are legally parked (and just barely admitting fault), to consistently raising rent when amenities don’t work (washers, dryers, and dishwashers are faulty, etc.) The security guards seem more like a decoration and management can’t seem to be found in the office at anytime! Along with that, don’t... even consider trying to order anything to the building, food and packages are stolen constantly and you’ll essentially be laughed at if you ask them to do something about it.

Hello-
We appreciate your review, as feedback of all kinds is welcome and received. With that said we would like to invite you to the Leasing Office to discuss the issues you mention in your review, as we would like to obtain the specifics so that... we may address them all directly. If your dishwasher is still not working properly, please contact the Leasing Office as soon as possible, at 617.436.0005 so that we can place a work order for Maintenance to look at it promptly. As for the washer/dryers, those are managed by an outside vendor. Their contact information is posted in the laundry rooms, but we are always more than happy to call and report an issue for our residents. Though the sooner it is reporter the quicker it can be addressed.
Now regarding the parking, a strict parking policy was put in place in early 2023 as there were many individuals abusing our loose policy and residents were parking their vehicles, at no charge, in the visitor parking spaces. We are sure you can imagine how frustrating it can be when you are paying close to $100 a month for parking and your neighbor is parking for free. Or when you have a guest, but they must park offsite because the visitor parking is full of your neighbors’ vehicles. We know the parking is tough, but it is one of the unfortunate circumstances to city living.
Again we are grateful for your review and welcome you to the Leasing Office at anytime to discuss any of the issues you have stated.

After 2 years of living experience in this complex I am writing this review to prevent you (future resident) from making the same mistake as me!
The management office and its employees are very RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL and IRRESPONSIBLE. Their contract is so vague and unclear that you never find out that you are ripped off until a problem comes up. Lately, about 2 months ago we realized that our unit is affected by bed bugs infestations!! My roommates and I notified the management office ASAP,... however, due to their lack of responsibility, the bed bugs have spread out to the whole unit (including bedrooms, living room, etc.). They have 2 pages of addendum in their lease contract just about a very tiny bug (BED BUGS), so you might be careful who you dealing with. Yesterday I went to their office to notify them AGAIN about our problem and they told me to leave their offie with a lots of disrespect!! You may need to give up on your rights as resident while leaving here. I am attaching other reviews to prove their lack of responsibility and their disrespectful behavior towards all of their residents.

The area is fairly nice but the apartment is small and the kitchen is meant for people who don't plan on cooking a lot. It's basically like a big dorm room but you really shouldn't stick around for too long because rent becomes crazy expensive and management charges some crazy fees if anything on the lease changes.

Firstly, we are honored to hear that you have renewed your lease with us and have lived with us for two years. We are however extremely upset to hear that those two years have not been as enjoyable as we would want them to be.
Our new Maintenance... team is currently averaging a two day turn around for work orders. Last year, and earlier this year, that turn around was on average one-day across both our buildings. If in two years none of your work orders have been met, I strongly urge you to come visit us in the office. There should never be a situation where your home is having maintenance issues that are not being met in a timely manner, or at least being discussed with you why they are not yet completed.
All noise complaints are taken extremely strict here at Peninsula. We abide by a strict 3-strike policy for all our residents. The cases for violations however must be logged by the office or security. If you are ever dealing with noise disturbance during quiet hours, please call 617-436-0005 and follow the prompt that follows for security. This allows security to log the disturbance but also lets them know there is a situation they need to report to immediately.
We are aware with the issues with the current towing company. The office never wants to hear or see a resident or their guests upset from having their vehicle towed. We are currently working on a solution so that Peninsula residents and their guests can feel more confident about taking advantage of our onsite Visitor parking.
We apologize that your two-year tenancy has not been the best. But would be more than happy to work with you in trying to improve your experience for whatever time you may still have with us here.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your thoughts,
The Peninsula Management Team
